Micheal Wolf’s Transparent City, is a series that studies buildings at night, showing the repetition of straight angles, windows of light and people that happen to be there at the same time the photo was taken. He also is able to create the pixelated details of the people going about here day without even noticing he was taking a photo. These photos are visually and aesthetically nice to see. I don’t know if I would like being photographed without my knowledge. It seems kind of creepy if someone were watching me. Even though I may not like being watched it happens to us everyday. Wolf has also done a series with street view which has become a controversial Google project which records streets of the world to be able to actually see details of the street, buildings, landmarks and unavoidably people. The photos below are from the series Street View: A series of unfortunate events.
