Ester Teichmann is an american-german photographer. She grew up in Rhine valley and was influenced by german painters such as Grunewald and Cranach early in her life. Because of this, their strong themes of eroticism, violence, and imaginary landscapes bled into her work now that have prominent objects of nude or semi nude bodies plunged in dark atmospheres that serve the exploration of the origins of desire and its counterpart- loss. Her photographs really dive into this otherworldly and mythological vibe that truly look almost like paintings or dreams.
