David Finell submits Mitch Dobrowner

            Mitch Dobrowner is a weather photographer.  From the description this could seem boring.  When most people talk about the weather their conversation leans towards the superficial.  This is far from the case with the stunning imagery of Mitch Dobrowner..  The visualizations of the storms remind us just how insignificant we are in the face of mother nature.  His imagery of the clouds show incredible structure and detail while preserving the awesomeness of each event.  In the middle of a drought it is easy to forget the power of storms.  In the middle of hilly terrain it can me difficult to gain a perspective of storm systems.  On the plains , where one can see for miles, capturing the majesty and power of storms becomes achievable.
