David Finell submits Neal Grundy

Exquisitely vivid colors erupting from colossal organic shapes just begin to describe the art created by photographer Neal Grundy.  His combination of long exposure, light painting, and perhaps a smidgen of HDR thrown in for good measure create stunning surreal imagery showcasing natural rock outgrowths.  There are many ways to paint with light to create engaging effects.  But it takes an artist to use these tools to create beautiful works of art.

In some of Neal’s works the organic shapes seem to form images like faces in clouds.  Others are purely organic.  While the images of his work are relatively diminutive on the Internet, they seem to scream to be viewed as murals.  I really enjoy the vivid landscaped Neal has created.  I hope you do as well.

More of his work can be seen here:  http://www.nealgrundy.co.uk/home.php
