Brianna Cristiano submits Vivian Maier

Vivian Maier was a street photographer in the 1950's. Nobody knew about her work until after she had passed away a young man bought a box of her negatives and was amazed by what he saw. She had over 100,000 negatives and a box of undeveloped negatives. This story is really what made me take a look at her work. Maier's work is stunning there is very much thought that has gone into each photograph. Her work captures the true essence of the city life. there is something
very captivating about her work. She seems to make the most public moment intimate. It is a glimpse into the subjects world. If you are interested in street art and traveling photography you should definitely check her out! http://www.vivianmaier.com/
