Pablo 03 John Clang

        John Clang, actual name Ang Choon Leng, is an artist originally from Singapore known for his photography. Clang work dabbles with the mundane and everyday life. His photographs show us land or cityscapes he has lived or come across, as well as introducing us to friends and family in interesting ways. For instance his Skype series titled Being Together, in which he photographs his coping living away from home and like many others communicating through video messaging. 

            My favorite of his works must be his series Time, in which he photographs different areas at various times.  By tearing the images into stripes them forming a single image with the strips of the same location Clang is able to explore the interactions between people within a space as time passes by.
