Alexis Diggs Reviews Shamayim
Shamayim is a African American International fashion photographer originally based out of Atlanta, Georgia. In an interview with production crew 'Roll Wit Us', Shamayim explains how traveling at the start of his career 14 hours to New York every month was vital to his success as a professional photographer. His passion for the medium allowed this self taught photographer to become a big name in the industry with inspirations from Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, and Peter Lindbergh. When asked how he felt he could change the industry, Shamayim describes there being a lack of representation of women of color in a high class element within the industry and that he felt it was his duty to do something about it.
