Rocio Montoya is not only a photographer, but a graphic/web designer and editor as well. Her main focus is portraiture, however, she likes to manipulate the image to transform reality. "The human body in synergy with nature, the female figure, and the loss of identity" are the basic concepts of her work. Her style above all seems to be editorial design. She uses bright pops of color to draw the viewer's eye across the image. The cutout lines her her pieces seem to either be very organic and symmetric (to take shape of the human form) or linear (to block out open areas on the figure).
