Smith has many works but the series that stands out to me is her photo set titled "Holding Ghosts," revolving around what makes a house a home, possessions that have lived in a space for decades, and attempting to memorialize a space through photography. All photos are silver gelatin prints from negatives, giving the piece an even more daunting atmosphere.
