Andrew Stansbury submits Otto Steinert
Otto Steinert captured seemingly homeless individuals in Paris, integrating them with the architecture they dwelled under in new and interesting ways. German born and bred, Steinert (1915-1978) sought to capture the importance of individual amongst the onslaught of urbanity. No longer did these Parisian folk lie on the grass by the river, but rather, they laid on the concrete next the sewage creek (Clochards on the Banks of the Seine which isn't available online). His book, Parisian Forms, is beautiful reproduction of his work.
