Born in Michigan, Jim Shoemaker now resides in Southern California traveling off the beaten path to discover and capture captivating images of landscapes and landmarks. Jim Shoemaker has graced the pages of Outdoor Photography, American Photo, Cowboys & Indians, and Malibu Times. Presenting HDR, Long exposure, and Black and White shots, I feel most sucked in by his historic documentation of sites and landscapes. I have always been fascinated by the relics of the past that no longer leave new signs of existence. The mere thought of a ghost town of the modern world existing blows my mind.
