Ryan Kirby submits Robert Polidori
Robert Polidori is a Canadian artist who specializes is architectural photography. Much of his work is straight forward architecture and is known for highlighting the detail that can be found in historical to contemporary structures. He shows the dirt or the grime on the older structures and can portray the sleek clean lines of the newer architecture. His most well known series includes photos from Chernobyl, where one can see the abandoned architecture of a city that was hastily evacuated and stuck in the world of late Soviet Russia and also of New Orleans after it was struck by hurricane Katrina. The later photo series causing much controversy due to his images of those perished.
