Haydeé Muñoz submits Andreas Gefeller
Andreas Gefeller is a german photographer who analyses interior spaces and landscapes and has been related to his contemporary Andreas Gursky. Gefeller point out a camera on a tripod completely perpendicular to the ceiling to get every room of the building or landscape and then he arranges the images to form some sort of architectural blueprint. One can never see human beings on the pictures but their prescence can be traced by grafitti, footprints, etc. which gives the photos a sense of the poeple who have been on that place. I believe this is a very creative analysis of space because it is one perspective we don't see as humans, so it is pretty interesting to look down on our world. I also believe the relationship of space and humans is questioned in this series "supervisions".The artist is documenting space which is emphazised with the use of photo because of its inherent documentary properties. www.andreasgefeller.com
