Clarissa Gutierrez -reviews Maider Lopez

   Meet artist Maider Lopez. Maider Lopez is a northern spaniard artists from San Sebastian. She studied at the same university I was studying abroad in Bilbao, University of the Basque Country. Her art projects are inspired on the interaction between human density and the space.

People with every day objects making publicity dissapeared. Playing with perspective, advertising and publicity diminished, showing human being's capacity to transform urban space and creating a city of use.

An expansion of the Museum through a participatory call. CadaAmigo Museum holds a piece titanium plates simulates the architecture of Frank Gehry. The sum of the plates ephemeral constructs a new gallery and museum wall.

Video work in which, through chroma key, it takes away the structure of the wheel revealing only gondolas and people flying in space. This structure was painted red and the Ferris wheel gondolas of the complementary color.
