Clarissa Gutierrez reviews Laurent Chehere

Meet Laurent Chehere, my favorite artist so far. Chehere is a french photographer that uses his appreciation with architecture and his surreal imagination on his favor. It also fools the eye of observer by not identifying what is real and what is rendered. His manipulation of imagery and layering of elements is magnificent. His photographs are composed by imagery of different living buildings from different cultures, floating in the sky. It also contains daily live elements in which engages the viewer with his compositions.

What I found fascinating as well is his use of space, expressing lots of information but giving a negative space which, in my opinion, balances the composition. Also his attention to linear forms makes this artist being my favorite.
